- As an owner of GPFax and a SFM 288, I finally decided to add the
- silent answer option to the initstring. But here's what happens.
-
- I started my communications program Term030 v4.6 and issued the
- AT+FAA=3 command. Did the AT&W. All OK. The modem returns a SA message
- in the display. Every time I startup my modem the SA message is
- present. So fine so good.
-
- Started GPFax and put AT&F2E0+FAA=3 in the initstring spot.
- After quiting GPFax and turning the modem & computer off for a while,
- I boot up my system again. Turn on the modem, the SA message is
- present. But when I'm starting GPFax sometimes the message SA appears
- for a second and then disappears presenting me the OK message.
-
- Is the Silent Answer option still present? Or do I need to have the SA
- message in the display, reminding me SA is turned on.
