  13. As an owner of GPFax and a SFM 288, I finally decided to add the
  14. silent answer option to the initstring. But here's what happens.

  16. I started my communications program Term030 v4.6 and issued the
  17. AT+FAA=3 command. Did the AT&W. All OK. The modem returns a SA message
  18. in the display. Every time I startup my modem the SA message is
  19. present. So fine so good.

  21. Started GPFax and put AT&F2E0+FAA=3 in the initstring spot. 
  22. After quiting GPFax and turning the modem & computer off for a while,
  23. I boot up my system again. Turn on the modem, the SA message is
  24. present. But when I'm starting GPFax sometimes the message SA appears
  25. for a second and then disappears presenting me the OK message.

  27. Is the Silent Answer option still present? Or do I need to have the SA
  28. message in the display, reminding me SA is turned on.
